Joel Bedford is an Ottawa based photographer who also divides his time between Montreal and Toronto.
Joel began his career assisting his father, Ottawa portrait photographer Michael Bedford. He later went on to develop professionally as a retouch artist, while carving out a successful modeling career in the international fashion industry. Serving as a subject for industry giants Steven Klein, Miles Aldridge, Karl Lagerfeld, Leda & St. Jacques, and countless others, Joel has refined his visual aesthetic and developed a unique perspective from both in front and behind the lens, and continues to be inspired by the professional community in which he has been involved for over a decade. His clients include Popular Photography Magazine, Digital Photography Magazine, String Magazine, Style Magazine, The Ottawa Citizen, Zink Magazine, The Dinner Jacket Magazine.
Joel is available to shoot weddings, commercial, editorial, fashion, real-estate, and fine art commissions.
